The Pebble Boy first appeared in my book – Poems Vs Pictures.
It became clear, though, that P.B. was a little different to the rest of the book and has a story all of his own to tell.
From disparate beginnings, The Pebble Boy comes to a sense of self awareness and begins to realise that he doesn’t have a smile.
Thought and events conspire and he is thrust into an adventure in the hope of finding it.
The short journey ends ubruptly and leaves Pebble Boy in a situation far from what he had hoped for.
After many years stuck in the mud, something quite surprising happens. Could Pebble Boy have found what he was looking for?
